Meet IAMC at the ISNA Convention, Chicago at booth # 401

Dear Friends and Supporters of IAMC,

Indian American Muslim Council (http://iamc.com), an advocacy group dedicated to safeguard India’s pluralist and tolerant ethos, delighted to inform you that we will be setting up a booth at the upcoming ISNA Convention to be held at Chicago IL starting Sat the 1st July 2011.

Please join us at booth # 401 in the Bazaar Area and catch up on the latest projects and activities at Indian American Muslim Council (IAMC).

We will be also giving away some gifts.

Our presence at the convention is in keeping with our continuous grassroots efforts to spread the word about our programs and activities and to encourage new volunteers and activists to participate in our projects.

Friday July 1st :
IAMC will be screening the
“Encountered On Saffron Agenda”
Documentary at the ISNA Film Festival at 5:15 PM.

Saturday July 2nd :
IAMC will also be hosting an ISNA Parallel Session:

TITLE: “Muslims in Multicultural Societies:
An Indian and American Perspective”
WHEN: Sat, July 2nd at 5:30-7:00 PM Session 9B
WHERE: Room 25 at the ISNA Convention Hall.
WHO: The Speakers will be

• Dr. Rahul Deepankar, an Indian Buddhist and Dalit leader,
• Suhail Khan – one of the pioners among Muslims in Washington Political Circle
• Rasheed Ahmed, IAMC Board Member
