Celebrating Republic Day!!
The Constitution of India came into force on January 26, 1950. This date marks an important milestone in the struggle for democracy by the people of India. The preamble to the Constitution of India resonates with the Declaration of Independence of the United States in its unequivocal declaration of liberty and equality for all its citizens and in its goal of establishing a nation that would assure the dignity of every individual.
This day is therefore truly worthy of celebration by all those who value freedom, democracy and pluralism.
