He is an expert on majority-minority relations in China and India, and the author of Hindu Nationalism in India and the Politics of Fear and Geopolitical Exotica: Tibet in Western Imagination.\nDr. Nitasha Kaul is an Associate Professor of Politics and International Relations at the University of Westminster, and will be speaking on “The future of democracy in India”. She is an acclaimed novelist, academic, and poet whose first novel, Residue, was shortlisted for the Man Asian Literary Prize in 2009. Her latest novel, Future Tense, was released in 2020.
