DESCRIPTION:FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE\nWASHINGTON, DC (June 17, 2022) – Indian American communities across the country are holding protests in response to the increasing amount of violent and deadly attacks on Muslim lives, false imprisonment of Muslims, and the destruction of Muslim homes in India under the Modi/BJP regime.\nJust last week, two teenage Muslim boys were fatally shot by police during a protest against a now former BJP spokesperson’s hateful remarks against the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
