Join us for an incisive book talk with acclaimed human rights expert Knox Thames as he discusses his new book, “Ending Persecution: Charting the Path to Global Religious Freedom,” which urges the United States to recommit to combating religious persecution worldwide.

This event will break down the book’s analysis on global persecution victimizing religious minorities, the failures of U.S. foreign policy to adequately address this epidemic, and what needs to be done to create a world where everyone can practice their faith without fear of discrimination or violence. We’ll also discuss how his research applies specifically to India, and talk about how the United States can press India to address rising anti-minority violence and democratic backsliding.
