Salah is currently the Executive Director of NAIT, the largest Waqf organization in the Western Hemisphere. Prior to that, he was in charge of running three Islamic Schools in New Jersey while owning his own business. He was CEO of a Japanese-affiliated company and has worked in a manufacturing and engineering company for 20 years.

During those 20 years, he held the position of a cost accountant, controller, Chief Financial officer, operations manager, executive VP, and CEO.

A product of a Jesuit High school, went on to earn BS in accounting and finance, and a master degree in accounting and management. His civic involvement included the management of Islamic schools, establishing one of the largest Islamic Centers in New Jersey and its president for 10 years.
