Hindu extremists assault Muslim men, forced them to chant Jai Sri Ram
In Maharashtra Bhiwandi, a mob of Hindu extremists brutally attacked three Muslim men and forced them to chant the Hindu supremacist war cry “Jai Sri Ram.” The same mob also reportedly attacked Muslim drivers just a short while before.
The victims were assaulted while passing by the scene of the earlier mob attacked.
As reported by the news outlet Siasat, “The [Hindu supremacist] mob had already apprehended another person who was being ruthlessly beaten. As they attempted to pass by, the assailants turned their attention to them, blocking their way and launching an unprovoked attack.”
Mosque demolished in Uttarakhand following complaint by Hindu group
A mosque in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-ruled Uttarakhand state was demolished after Hindu supremacist groups claimed that the mosque was built illegally.
The incident follows an anti-mosque campaign launched by Hindu supremacist groups in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh this month, triggering protests and threats to demolish several Muslim places of worship.

Federal Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar accused madrasas of “fostering terrorism” and posing a threat to national security. Speaking at a girls’ hostel in Telangana’s Karimnagar, Kumar baselessly alleged that some madrasas were “training students to use AK-47 rifles with broomsticks.”
