NEW PROJECT: THE INDIAN MUSLIM STORY
IAMC is excited to announce our new project, The Indian Muslim Story – a series of articles, graphics, and videos dedicated to celebrating the history, cultural contributions, and experiences of Indian Muslims. For centuries, Indian Muslims have played an integral role in shaping India’s culture and democracy and remain a vital part of India’s social fabric. This project is dedicated to exploring that rich heritage in detail.

RAMADAN ROADSHOW
IAMC chapters across the country conducted another successful Ramadan Roadshow, a series of events aimed at educating the broader Muslim community about IAMC’s mission and advocacy.
Our Atlanta chapter held events at six masajid, including one of the largest in the city, where the Imam spoke to the congregation about IAMC’s work. Our Boston chapter hosted a well-received event at the Islamic Society of South Shore, where IAMC’s Associate Director delivered a passionate appeal between Taraweeh prayers about the challenges Muslims in India face. In New Jersey, our team held roadshows at four masajid, engaging hundreds of attendees.
We thank our volunteers across the country for putting so much time and effort into this year’s roadshow and amplifying the Indian Muslim cause!
FUNDRAISING FOR THE CAUSE
Ramadan is the month of giving, and our community did not disappoint. On March 23rd, we held our Annual Virtual Ramadan Fundraising event with keynote speaker Yousef Abdallah, Executive Director of Africa Relief. Dozens of supporters from around the country tuned in to hear our staff speak about the importance of our work.
Additionally, IAMC’s Dallas chapter held its first Ramadan fundraiser, featuring Siddharth Varadarajan, co-founder of The Wire.
We thank all of you who attended and donated. Our work would not be possible without our grassroots – and you continue to prove that time and time again!
