18-year-old Muslim girl molested, family attacked by Hindu extremists in Agra
Hindu extremists barged into a Muslim man’s house, sexually assaulted his 18-year-old daughter, injured other family members and vandalised vehicles in Hindu supremacist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-ruled Uttar Pradesh state.
“We were targeted for being the only Muslim family in the locality,” the house owner said. “Their attack on us went on for over 30 minutes. No one came to our rescue.”

She was hit with a brick in the head and she fell unconscious,” he said.
The other members of the family were also attacked when they tried to resist the assaulters.
Dalit minor tied to tree and assaulted for hours over accusation of stealing one rupee
A 14-year-old Dalit boy in Bihar state was subjected to several hours of physical assault after being accused of stealing a one-rupee coin.
Video footage shows the minor being tied to a tree and subjected to severe beating with water forcefully sprayed on him using a high-pressure pipe, typically used for car washing.
The victim, Kishore Deepak Kumar, said that the shopkeeper and his accomplices tied him up with a rope and subjected him to continuous physical assault for around 10 hours.
School principal beaten up by Hindu extremists over suspicion of teaching Christianity
A mob of Hindu extremists beat the principal of a school in Pune city in Maharashtra state for allegedly teaching Christian education in the school.
The mob chased him around the campus, tore his clothes and raised Hindu religious slogans. The school has confirmed the incident and denied all the allegations.
Hindu extremists force meat shop owners in Uttar Pradesh to shut down
Hindu extremists in BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh raided Muslim-owned meat shops and forced them to close down. Recently, in the Indian capital of Delhi, members of Hindu militant groups Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal forced numerous Muslim-run meat shops to keep stores shut on Tuesdays, citing the need to honor “Hindu sentiments.”
