‘Driver Threatened of Second Lakhimpur’: Haryana Farmer Hit by ‘Car in BJP MP’s Convoy’

One farmer sustained injuries while others had a narrow escape after a car they claim was part of Bharatiya Janata Party MP Nayab Saini’s cavalcade drove into a group of farmers protesting against the centre’s farm laws in Naraingarh near Ambala….

As per the complaint, farmers were raising slogans on both sides of the road. As the event concluded and the convoy of cars exited the area, a rashly driven Innova vehicle (HR-04-F-0976) in Saini’s cavalcade drove towards a group of farmers protesting on one side of the road.

While one farmer had a narrow escape, the vehicle directly hit Bhawan Preet and threw him on the other side of the road, causing him several injuries, read the complaint. As per the complaint the vehicle was driven by one Rajiv, a resident of Berkheri village in the area. The complaint said Rajiv “deliberately hit the farmer” as part of a conspiracy hatched with BJP MP Saini to teach farmers “a Lakhimpur Kheri kind of incident.”…
