IMC-USA offers condolences on the death of Pope John Paul II

The Indian Muslim Council-USA, an advocacy group working towards protecting and promoting the pluralist and tolerant values of Indian and the Indian American community, offered condolences on the death of Pope John Paul II.
Dr. Shaik Ubaid, the President of IMC-USA, expressed regret at the passing away of Pope John Paul, calling him a religious and world leader who had made significant efforts to reach out to other faiths. "We offer our sincere condolences to members of the Roman Catholic Church and all those who stood with him in advocating peace and compassion," said Dr.Ubaid.
