Mapping patterns of violence against journalists in India

India is a dangerous place for journalists. From May 19 to Aug21, The Polis Project documented 256 reported instances of violence against journalists. Today, 2 November 2021, which marks the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists, we are launching our research project  — Mapping patterns of violence against journalists in India (2019 -2021).
