Yogi Adityanath threatens to treat Muslims “so harshly that their descendants will remember”
In Berhampore, West Bengal, Yogi Adityanath, a BJP minister and close ally of Modi, threatened violence against Muslims, saying, “Infiltrators are let into West Bengal with the aim of changing your demography. If anybody dares to interrupt Hindu festivals in UP, we will deal with them so harshly that their descendants will remember.”
In far-right BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh’s Bareily, Uttarakhand Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami promoted the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory of Land Jihad at an election rally.

In Khargone, Madhya Pradesh, Hindu supremacist news personality Suresh Chavhanke called on Hindu men to marry Muslim women and convert them to Hinduism. This bigoted and sexist demand calls on Hindus to act on the conspiracy theory of “love jihad”, which falsely claims Muslim men have an agenda to convert Hindu women through seduction. Chavhanke has made similar threats in the past, calling on Hindu men to convert 4 million Muslim women to Hinduism.
In Hubbali , Karnataka, Hindu supremacist activist Chakravarty Sulibele promoted fear and hate against Muslims by peddling conspiracy theories.
Cow vigilantes assault truck drivers over alleged cattle transport
In BJP-ruled Haryana’s Palwal, Hindu extremist cow vigilantes chased a vehicle allegedly transporting a cow, resulting in an accident. The extremists then beat the driver. A similar incident occurred in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, where Hindu extremist cow vigilantes assaulted a truck driver for transporting calves.
