All In Good Faith: Muslims In Karnataka Offer Juices To Devotees During Ram Navami Procession
While some people are busy spreading hate in the name of religion, there are others who are keeping up the spirit of a united India.
Setting an example of communal harmony, the Muslim community in Karnataka was seen distributing juice to the devotees of Lord Ram during the Ram Navami procession in Kalaburagi. This is one of the biggest in South India.
On the face of it, this might not sound like a grand gesture, but it was a rather beautiful one. For years, people of different religions have coexisted in peace in India, and that’s how we want it to be.
People were touched by this gesture and took to social media to appreciate the same.
One month ago, a similar incident happened when the Muslim community in Aligarh offered milk and fruits to Kanwar yatris as they celebrated Shivratri.
There are and will probably always be factions trying to spread hate in the name of religion. But good always triumphs over evil and gestures like this one go a long way in strengthening the national fiber of the country.
