IMC-USA Congratulates Indians on Sixtieth Independence Day

Indian Muslim Council-USA (IMC-USA), on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of India’s independence, congratulates all Indians and people of Indian descent as well as those who love India.

IMC-USA applauds India’s vibrant secular democracy that is admired the world over. IMC-USA is proud to see the phenomenal economical and technological progress India enjoys on this joyous day.

IMC-USA invites all Indians to work together to leverage the current economical progress in removing poverty and mitigating class-based, caste and communal discrimination.

August 15th is also the Fifth Anniversary of Indian Muslim Council-USA (IMC-USA). In the last five years IMC-USA has significantly contributed to the pluralistic and tolerant ethos of India by working with several other Indian organizations of varied background towards the upliftment of subjugated and oppressed fellow Indians.It is committed to continue to play a positive and constructive role in helping India become a beacon of social justice that other nations respect and admire.

IMC-USA is confident that each anniversary of Indian independence will bring India closer to the vision of Gandhi, Nehru, Azad, Ambedkar and many other patriotic Indians.
