Muslim infant crushed by police in Rajasthan raid

During a police raid in Rajasthan’s Alwar, a one-month-old infant, Alisba, died after being crushed under an officer’s foot while sleeping beside her mother. The raid, conducted at 6 a.m. without prior notice, saw police barging into the home of a daily-wage laborer over frivolous accusations of online fraud. 

Police, Hindu militants parade man over social media post

In Raipur, Chhattisgarh, members of the Hindu militant groups Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP)  and Bajrang Dal joined police in detaining and publicly parading a Muslim man for a social media post referring to a local rally as “Little Pakistan.” The mob chanted slogans like “One must chant Jai Shri Ram to live in Hindustan” and “This country belongs to Veer Shivaji (Hindu deity), not to Mullahs and Qazis (anti-Muslim slurs).”

Hindu militants protest outside churches in Chhattisgarh, Odisha

In Chowki, Chhattisgarh, VHP and Bajrang Dal members staged a protest outside a church during Sunday prayers, accusing pastors of forcing Hindus to convert to Christianity. Meanwhile, in Bhadrak, Odisha, members of the VHP, Bajrang Dal, and Durga Vahini protested against the construction of a church, claiming it was illegal and accusing authorities of shielding it.
