Muslim woman shot dead by forest officials in Assam

A Muslim woman named Rahima Khatun was killed in gunfire by forest guards after returning to evicted land due to flooding in makeshift settlement. The incident took place in Burha Chapori Wildlife Sanctuary in Assam, a state ruled by BJP. Khatun’s husband Samser Ali was also suffered a gunshot wound and was hospitalised.

Notorious hate monger Suresh Chavhanke delivers anti-Muslim hate speech

Hindu extremist leader and owner of anti-Muslim propaganda channel,  Suresh Chavhanke attended a rally by Sakal Hindu Samaj, a coalition of far-right organsations, where he delivered extremely hateful speech against Muslims and Islam. He targeted Muslim women, Muslims places of worship and businesses and promoted the conspiracy of “spit jihad.”

Hindu extremists assault truck driver for transporting cattle

In BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh state’s Banda district, a violent mob of Hindu extremists brutally assaulted a truck driver for transporting cattle, despite him having all the required documents and permissions.

Hindu militant mobs have increasingly been targeting Muslims over baseless accusations of committing crimes. These mobs, also known as cow vigilantes, attack and often lynch Muslims accused of transporting cattle or consuming beef.
