Banaras Hindu University tense after blood spills on campus
Tension prevailed in Banaras Hindu University (BHU) on Wednesday following homicide of an expelled scholar Gaurav Singh, who used to be shot more than one instances by way of assailants on the campus late on Tuesday. Police led by way of a senior police officer introduced an enormous search operation in the hostels towards suspicious parts.
As a bunch of scholars locked the primary gate of the college and staged a sit-in challenging instant arrest of the accused, together with leader proctor Royana Singh, heavy police power used to be deployed in and around the campus.
In view of the strain, district Justice of the Peace Surendra Singh and SSP Anand Kulkarni camped on the campus. Though varsity management declared a holiday on Wednesday, ratings of scholars collected on the main gate and raised slogans.…
