Hemant Karkare’s Daughter Questions the Mystery that Shrouds the Death of Her Father
The controversial “curse” remark made by Malegaon blast’s terror accused Sadhvi Pragya Thakur, regarding ATS chief, Hemant Karkare’s martyrdom, has reopened the mystery surrounding his death. And this time the questions that need to be answered with regards to Karkare’s death have been raised by none other than his daughter Jui Navare.
In an Interview with The Indian Express, Navare has talked about the incidents that eventually led to his death. Citing the recording of the conversation that transpired between Karkare and the control room, she said that the recordings show that his father “had requested for reinforcements, for more personnel to encircle Cama Hospital (Outside which Karkare was killed)”. But his order was not followed. Following which she asked as to why his order had not been followed?…
Questions surrounding Karkare’s death has been raised multiple time. Karkare was investigating the Malegaon bomb blast case. Former Union Minister, late A R Atulay had also raised questions over his death. “Karkare found that there are non-Muslims involved in the acts of terrorism during his investigations in some cases. Any person going to the roots of terror has always been the target. Superficially speaking, they (terrorists) had no reason to kill Karkare. Whether he (Karkare) was a victim of terrorism or terrorism plus something else. I do not know,” he had noted.…
