Clip shows vendors harassed over religion in Delhi

A probe has been initiated into a video, allegedly taken in Shastri Nagar of north Delhi, showing a few men stopping street vendors, asking their names to establish their religion and then stopping them from entering a residential colony. 

…In the video, a man wearing a white and red striped T-shirt is seen stopping two vegetable vendors and asking their names. He claims that a vendor changed his name to enter the colony. He then turns away the vendors asking them to come later. Here he introduces himself as an RWA member. 

Senior police officers said initially they couldn’t establish the exact place or identify the man since the video didn’t show his face clearly. “The person who uploaded the video claimed that he had shot it. We are trying to identify and track him down,” said DCP (Cyber Cell) Anyesh Roy.…
