Indian Muslim Council-USA condemns the Samjhauta Express train blasts

Indian Muslim Council-USA (IMC-USA), an advocacy group dedicated toward the promotion of pluralism in India and the US, condemns the devastating blast in the train dubbed as Samjhauta Express en route to Pakistan.
Mirza Baig, IMC-USA’s Vice President, denounced the terrorists behind the bombings saying, "Such barbaric acts of violence never serve any cause and can never be justified. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims".
Baig urged the government of India to immediately conduct a thorough investigation and take every possible measure to bring the perpetrators to justice. Baig also stated that IMC-USA appeals to the authorities to provide prompt and adequate compensation to next of the kin of the victims’.
Indian Muslim Council-USA is a Washington based advocacy group working towards safeguarding Indian society’s pluralist and tolerant ethos.
